In conjunction with our Alvin Lustig Archive project, we printed a series of 4 Limited Edition Prints of the New Directions: New Classics book jackets, beautifully designed by Alvin Lustig in the mid 1940's. All editions were screen printed with care by Master Printer, Luther Davis at Axelle Fine Art (Brooklyn). Colors were mixed by hand to match the original jackets from the 1940's and printed on high quality 100% Cotton (lightly textured, soft white) Archival Coventry Rag (335gsm) using water-based inks and enamel black. Kind Company is a small, 2-4 person, independent web and print design office in Brooklyn, New York. Since 2004, partners Patricia Belen and Greg D'Onofrio have been using design as a tool to help small to medium sized businesses communicate their ideas, products and services.
